Dragon Ball Tribute

With the recent passing of Akira Toriyama I wanted to make a piece honoring his legacy while also serving as some vehicle modelling practice. He seemed to have a great affinity for machines and motorcycles, so this scene is a recreation of the cover art for Dragon Ball chapter 73, where he has drawn Bulma riding something very close to a real world motorcycle, the stylish ‘Moto Guzzi V8’ rather than the more well known white circular bike that many others have made models of already.

I also chose this since his hands were most directly involved in the manga and not as much in the anime.

This project was completed is almost exactly 1 month in my spare time outside of work.

Blender is able to correctly render the outline on layered transparent materials, so ideally the windshield would have a black outline, but not a feature in sketchfab.
